Interviewing

Performing an interview is the process of engaging in a structured conversation with an individual or multiple people to gather information, insights, opinions, or personal experiences. Interviews can be conducted in person, over the phone, or via video call, allowing for flexibility to meet the requirements of the participants. They can range from formal discussions such as investigative journalism, to informal sessions like storytelling.

I have developed a keen aptitude for conducting interviews that facilitate the acquisition of valuable information from clients. I can weave together a story from the information provided, creating a compelling narrative that resonates with the intended audience. My approachable nature is evident in my interview style which ensures my interviewees feel comfortable, receptive, and safe to share their story, with well-timed and engaging questioning to bring all information to the fore.

My interview participants range from satisfied clients to users seeking improvement, and from peers and colleagues to subject matter experts. From these interviews, I have crafted engaging stories in the form of case studies or client stories; informative blogs; and topical news articles, to name but a few content pieces.
